Experience in Hwa Chong

  Hi, Everyone! This is my first post in my blog. In this post, I will describe the first and second official days of school.

  On the first day of school, we meet our form teacher, Mr. Low Swee Xiang, who was also our Science teacher. Apart from some admin stuff (aka forms), we were interacting with each other with games and such throughout the day. I think that this is a very good way of introducing us to each other, as we will be with this class for at least 1 whole year.

  Then, we had a consortium assembly, where we were introduced to the new teachers of the iSpark consortium. Then, we listened to some talks, like the Discipline talk by Mr. Sung Kah Kee and the library talk, the IT talk, et cetera.

  At the end of the day, the whole school was sending off Mr. Ang, a CEO that was responsible for many important changes to the school, like merging the High School side with the Junior College side. Although we had never met Mr.Ang, we all knew the value of 饮水思源 (to remember the people who helped you greatly in life), so we cheered as enthuastically as the seniors. Then, we were dismissed for the day.

  On the second day of school, we were introduced to the other teachers who will be teaching us, like the Mathematics teacher Mrs. Susan Chang, the Integrated Humanities teacher Mr. Eugene Chua, the Arts & Acts of Persuation teacher Miss. Soh Sook Shan Susan, the Chinese Foundation teacher 尹老师, et cetera.

  They are all special and different in their own way and I believe that they would guide me towards the right path in life.
